Hello, narrowed down my choice between the Bluesound and the Innuos to store my CD library and replace my Macbook Air to AppleTV setup. I’m using an external DAC so not much concerned by the internal dac sound of those two. Here are my priorities in order:
1- Sound quality using the digital out of the device. I’m the kind that loves lush tube sound, not the detailled but bright type. I have Meze Empyrean and an EL84 based tube amp to feed.
2- No noise in operation
3- Ease of use of the software (hopefully I’ll like it enough so wont have to pay for Roon)
I found this guys evaluation which is quite good. Based on his review, I’m leaning towards the Bluesound because I don’t want to spend more money on an external LPSU to get the Innuos to sound better. https://www.stevehuffphoto.com/2020...-review-with-phoenix-usb-re-clocker-and-lspu/
Anyone has more info for me as I wont be able to demo?
