I snagged a copy of the 200G Blue Train remaster yesterday from the used bin at my local shop. I have had a non-remastered, regular release, for some time.
We did a little back to back listening to see if I could hear a difference and, not surprisingly, there was a pretty dramatic difference in terms of soundstage, instrument detail and overall goodness.
I moved my turntable to my non-headphone 2 channel system but I assume that the results would have been exactly the same with different transducers/electronics.
Summary - in this case, at least, the audiophile version is very much worth it.
