I directly asked Blue Microphones about the non replaceable pads, I got no answer. That would be a negative feature, but Ella seems a very interesting headphone.

What the hell? There's a pin at the hinge of my headband and left armature that's loose and requires adjusting every now and then, the way I'm reading that I feel like they wouldn't accept the repair request right now. Been holding off on sending it in because I want to listen to these more, but kinda strange on the customer support side of things.

What do you guys think, should I get Ellas or wait for MrSpeakers Aeon? I have found Ella here down under for about $900 while Aeons are months away and will cost $1,200. Currently love listening to my Oppo PM-3 and Meze 99 Classic but I'm looking to get a better closed planar magnetic headphone. Always listen to my music on the go so open hps are out of question.
Yes, Blue Ella's are highly recommended. Guitar Center sells them for $699.99 and offers discounts for them when you call to place an order over the phone. They're very worth it, here's my 1 year review on them

Blue Ella would be a great option, they're extremely versatile and can go with you in just about any situation. Here's my impressions after a year of use
