I was playing about with some programs and i didn't realize it changed my wave from 10% to 100% and i stared playing a song and one bass one sounded VERY loud and whole cans shaked from the bass. The bass was VERY disorted. I feel the sound is not the same

IF the driver was damaged, what sound I hear?
Max SPL for this can is 138 dB, and i'm nearly sure my audigy can't produce enough power for cans to produce more than 130 dBa.
I feel that the sound is not the same? What would be worse if the driver got damaged ? less details or less / strange bass ? I'm confused ... should I think about RMA ?

My cans are Philips HP890...

Distortion may have killed your driver. You should connect it to a regular amplifier. If you here a "break," your driver is probably blown.

Is the driver either fully blown or can it be partially blown ?
