Nice unknown that is what I call proof 12/12.  Whats your setup?

Ha how ironic. I had that same setup but I got rid of the sparrow because I failed blind tests.

It's really less of a question how great or expensive your equipment it. Instead, it's ime far more important being trained / know what to listen for.

To quote Sean Olive: "if you do half an hour of training a day, I think in a month or two you probably gonna get up to the minimum level harman requires before listeners are allowed into product tests".
I know, that sounds quite a bit over the top, but take a look at their research results:

Finally got around to do the test again with a decent amount of trials. Certainly not as easy as it may look. I believe if I had continued then I would begin to mess up :-0

I know that I will fail miserable at 320kbps or maybe even less less, tried it, been there, no need to prove this right now.

I would like to see a new test with maybe 192/256 kbps and only counting votes when posting test scores.

Setup: Toshiba laptop with Lear FSM-01 portable amp and a pair of "custom" Fischer Audio DBA-02 IEM.

This is absolutely brilliant !

I love the "test" so to speak - it now puts my ideas of mp3 is much worse over lossless behind me!

Yes B was lossless, and I realised this at 0:28, where B was a little more defined - not particularly in a good way, just heard some little hissing, thus a little more detail in the song.
One could argue that B was more defined, and was more dynamic - personally, without comparing side by side, and replaying several times, would i have been able to tell the difference.

In my collection i have always had mp3, and never had anything else, always wondered what lossless really added.
To me, not much, and not worth the bigger files if you ask me, no matter what earphone/headphone you have, unless you are, and excuse me for saying this word, an audiophile - a true one.

Personally I'm no audiophile, nor proclaim to be one, I just enjoy my music very much :)

I thank you for your test as it put some of my "concerns" behind me, and showed me a great comparison between the 2.
PS.
I had NEVER looked at the polls beforehand, just because I personally thought it would ruin the REAL test for me.

unfortunately, I find audio reviewers know more than audio retailers...
"here buy some beats"

That study was done with hifi loudspeakers, not headphones afaik.

I mean (specialized) hifi retailers and not some supermarket shop assistants. (English's not my native language so I dunno how else to explain.)

There's not really any way to mask results, other than having a thread you can't post in.

People could use spoiler masking by setting their colors to white on white.  Then to read it you just highlight it:
