Candice Night is haunting, Richie Blackmore makes it relaxing, and this reminds me of full moons; thats all i wanna say about the band. So have we got any followers here?

I would say, if you have not heard them, hear them and judge the band for yourself, here are some numbers to try : -

Ghost of a Rose
Loreley
Faerie Queen

I bought a Blackmore's Night album years ago thinking it would be sort of like Deep Purple or Rainbow - having said that I think music by the group is very listenable. The album I have is Under A Violet Moon.

I have nt heard Under A Voilet Moon, but i would highly recommend the album Ghost of A Rose. The music is not at all similar to Deep Purple or Rainbow, it is totally different, but i kinda like all 3 of those bands. I just love the way Blackmore stands out from the crowd, either i have extremely little experience in the type of music he composes, or its just that he is different; either ways, hes a legend.
