so my s:flo2 broke and i was planning to send it in to get fixed.. i decided to use my 9780 to tie me over.. to my surprise, it actually sounds really good!
im actually hearing details that were faint before loud and clear.. the bass is not super but then again im using bass shy phones (SE310).. it actually has better "quality" bass than my ipod and sony..
it also gives me that effect where some sounds are really far left, behind, or to the right of me.. i think thats what you refer to as sound stage.. i cant imagine what these sound like on the UM3x (which i hope to buy one day).. theyve brought out many details ive never heard out of my earphones
now if only theres an APP available that would give it a better EQ and volume control..
the volume jumps too much after each increase/decrese.
im very surprised.. i can listen to music for hours and not have any sibilance or anything.
