That sounds confusing. As both box sets are the same albums and same music. 8 CDs of the 8 Ozzy-Sabbath albums. I have an old 80's 'Master of Reality' and the 'Replica' box set is definitely remastered. The older box set at Amazon

I won't replace my set either but if I had neither and had to choose I would take the more recent one you've pointed out KR...

It's not that confusing, or maybe it is

The old 'Replica' box set was remastered with some unknown source and the the band didn't approve of them.

This box set is remastered from the original master tapes and was approved by the band. The remastered sound is suppose to be up to audiophile standards, while all the others while better than the 1st releases are not up to audiophile standards and do not sound as good as this new set according to everyone who has heard the new set.

BUT, that said, you are 100% right, I do not see the point of getting this new one if you already have a box set. However, if someone didn't have a box set, this would be the version to get
