Bit perfect playback on Linux (Pipewire)

oh, good that you mention it..... avoid chromium based browser, they are resampling everything as far i know/last time i checked around half year ago

you probably wont notice it under windows, but i guess/think the same thing happens there as under linux because to me firefox always sounded better than chromium, either on windows or linux, definitely more noticable with lossless but i thought even youtube sounded a smitch better
As a Gentoo user, i do not want to compile chromium to test only that :D Chromium is a giant monster as Google forked almost an whole OS into the Code. Even with my 8-core it can take up to 20 minutes to build it^^

If someone is willing to test and report back, you're welcome :D

(screenshot taken in EasyEffects, as its the easiest to show)

As you see, chromium is resampling everything on its own to 192khz, because i set the default pipewire sampelrate to 192khz .... but instead of outputting native 44,1khz as firefox and pipewire does the upsampling.... the chromium app itself is upsampling

i think this has actually changed from 2-3years ago, where the chromium samplerate was fixed to 48khz..... but its either way still a sub-par implementation
