I didn't get my brother when he graduated from college and his birthday is in December right there with Christmas. Not that you needed any of this info but I thought I'd volunteer.
I want to get him addicted to headphones and I would just give him my HD580's and total bithead when I do some upgrading, I'll buy him something new. I am looking for either a headphone that doesn't require an amp or a headphone/amp combo in the $250 range.
He is an art student in Philadelphia at the moment. I don't know his current taste in music as it changes pretty regularly. Current most likely sources are an iPod Nano and a MacBook Pro. I don't want to get an IEM because I don't like sticking things in my ear and, well, he's my brother so he probably doesn't either.
