So, I don't really mind the JBL's at all but the Shures on sale for $100 at Futureshop and so do you think it would be a worthy upgrade. From what I've read the Shure's are great except for lacking in the bass area...But would people also say that the JBL's are lacking in bass because if so then I know I wouldn't have a problem with the Shures as I enjoy the JBL's so far.

I'm just led to believe that a $200 phone might just have better sound than a $69 pair.

Well there will be a quite difference in bass. The JBL's are very heavy in bass while the Shures are lighter and more accurate. But in everything else (mids, and highs) the Shures will dominate, much clearer and more detailed. I'd say do it if you dont mind losing some bass. (I kinda like my SE110's over my 210's better though..) 100 bucks is a great deal.
