I'm wondering if it's possible to use the rca and balanced outputs from a citypulse to simultaneously feed into 2 amps. I've only got one amp @ the moment, so I wondered if anyone had experience with this.

Not sure if the timing works with that scheme. Considered a "Y" connector from either of the 2 outputs on your DAC?

That might work.
But beware that the balanced line output a higher signal voltage (line level) than single ended. So you will most probably need two volume controls to make them even.

On some units with balanced and unbalanced outputs, the signal level between pin 2 ("hot") and pin 1 (signal ground) is exactly the same as it is on the RCA outputs--that's the situation with the 0404 USB.

However, from the pictures of the rear panel of the Citypulse and the description, I think there is a problem--are the XLR outputs connected to the variable output stage via the volume control, or are they at a fixed output level?
