I have the Beyerdynamic T51i. I love the sound, the looks, etc. However, I can't stand the pain on my ears after a couple of hours of use.
I've seen that the much more common DT 1350 face the same issue, as they seem to be pretty similar in design. On that regard, I read on this same forum that some users try to mitigate the problem changing the earpads for the Velour Nubuk EDT 1350 N (63 mm, product number 908363).
Supposedly those earpads would work for the T51i too, but I'm not sure. Are they officially made for the T51i as well, or it's just one of those products that little shops are marketing as "this will work on your headphones too"?
Also, some users suggest bending the metal band on the 1350. I guess that would work with the T51i too, but again, I'm not sure.
Suggestions?
