But breathable velour pads is better in T1 and also more comfortable
You mean source selection?T1 is more airy better soundstage and also more treble ...but T5 need some time burn in in than will be more balanced end very smooth sounding headphones i like it more than T1 finally...
I find the T5 lacking in bass, unlike the dt 1770T5 sound good will all genere and not source dependent...T1 is more analitical and older staff and music low quality sources sound better on T5....also T5 have more fuller bass which i like more...
Give some time to burn in and will improve that also
Does the bass bleeds into mids on higher volumes? And does the middle frequencies get recessed in busy songs?I've been listening to them for half a year now and got used to them, I compared them and the dt 1770 on the same source, the Earmen Angel and 1770 produced much more bass, whereas on the T5 I found the resolution, soundstage and liveliness to be better, but the dynamics were very lacking. Maybe it has that setup or it works better with a high impedance load, I don't know. But still the T5s played better with it than the DAP I have now.
Yes, it is.Maybe have 1770 better dynamic but all other staff t5 win and more smoother less fatigue sound upper frequencies
No, they don't, but the midrange has a dip and I can hear itDoes the bass bleeds into mids on higher volumes? And does the middle frequencies get recessed in busy songs?
It takes time but you will be repaid, I love T1Today i heard t1 3rd generation and the performance was not good like the bass was bleeding into mids and treble was not balanced
The quality of bass wasn’t good either
Anyone compared t1 3rd vs t5 3rd?
According to Beyerdynamic their drivers don’t need run-in time anywayGive some time to burn in and will improve that also
Have you heard headphones from denon offerings? Like denon d7200?No, they don't, but the midrange has a dip and I can hear it
