Beyerdynamic Repair Gone MIA!

Long story short, I sent in a pair of DT 1350s for repair due to a manufacturer's defect and have no clue where it is.
I sent them out to the Sound Surgeon in New York, Beyerdynamic's "authorized" repair center. That was January 26th.
 
It's been over 3 weeks and I haven't heard from them at all. They're not replying to my emails or phone calls.
 
Did I just lose a pair of $300 headphones?

Does anyone else have experience with Beyerdynamic's repair service? This lack of communication is just unacceptable...

I'm in the same boat as you. Sent in my DT770's on March 2nd, my card was charged and since then I haven't heard a peep from them despite emails and phone calls to them.
