fwir beyerdynamic headphones generaly pair well with meier amp, as they compliment each other with their sound signatures... Or do they?
Specifically with the DT770 pro 80, ive read a lot that it sounds well with the meier headfive? They say that the headsix helps in bringing out the mids of the dt770?
Ive been looking for a portable amp that would best pair with my DT770 pro80, headfive is my first choice but i find it a little big ill just use it mainly with an iphone3gs, plus i cant find any headfive available new... Would the headsix sound similar or same as headfive? Are they as big?
What other portable amps sounds similar as the headfive that would compliment or synergize with the dt770pro80? Budget is sub 200$. Thanks head-fi!
Is it also true that the fiio e5 has a similar sound sig with meiers, giving a little emphasis on the mids?
