Hi all;

So I'm using a Marantz 2230 stereo receiver with a Pioneer DV490 dvd player and SMSL Sanskrit 10 dac

Current headphones are OneOdio SP10 headphones and sound really good. BUT, we know we can do better

My music tastes are classical and 80's pop and looking at upgrading to a pair of BeyerDynamics possible 770 or 880 model

Can the Marantz drive the higher impedance headphones such as 250-600ihm without problems

The Marantz is rated at 30WPC

My issue with the 770's I see they were firts made in the year 2000 son 20+ years in production and would like something a bit newer from BeyerDynamics.

That said I'm also looking at the DT150's

Thanks in advance for your advice

high impedance (Ohm) headphones usually work with older speaker amplifier/receivers.
What is your headphone budget?
