I'm very much a noob to Audio forums who happens to love Audio  I had the Beyerdynamic Headzone H1 + MMX300 I have the Alpha Primes showing up tomorrow any guidance? I was told the Beyerdynamic Headzone H1is enough for the AP's but I was wondering is there is something better I should look at?  They are connected via Optical to a PC mostly for Music and Games

I can't tell you how it sounds I have no idea what you guys are talking about when you describe how they sound  
 
sample:  They sound slightly puffy with a hint of bang and a roughness that I like..

additional question: Currently the Beyerdynamic Headzone H1is connected to the onboard Audio via Optical Cable.  I have a Creative Sound Blaster ZxR would it be worth it to use that over the Optical?
