Are all Beyerdynamic headbands (the whole plastic piece + cushioning pad) the same size? I prefer the look of the black pro headbands and I was wondering if I could put it onto a DT880 2003.

I don't think so. Mainly because when I was researching the DT770 pro and DT770 2005 edition, one of the main differences was the larger headband of the 2005 edition which in turn resulted in a lower clamping force.
