Just got my pair of beyerdynamics DTX-101 (from Amazon itself, not the anonimous seller on marketplace, full MSRP... ok, 99p discount).
What the heck? They sound terrible! And I do not mean some 'lack of tone in the lower frequence' or 'hot signature'. I mean, whenever they are inserted into my player (i tried my PC as well) they are delivering some noise - like a low-frequence rustle, with occasional high-freq spike, like a squeak or beep.
I might say this is my equipment not being at par, but I owned a pair of relatively decent Bose in-ears before those (the cord broke, so had to replace 'em)  and i didn't expreince any such issue with them.
Is it just the knock-off or is something wrong with my equipement or what? Should I try to get them fixed under warranty?
Thanks!

What equipment are you using?

Return and either get a refund or try another set.  Sounds like they are faulty.
