Hi,

I replaced my worn out old velour ear pads, with nice new black ones yesterday and also replaced the foam inner pads, This required taking the plastic clip out and whilst doing this with my blunt screwdriver it slipped and put a small hole in the paper diaphragm (see pic) of my left driver...!!

This now results in a very slight rattle occasionally, which is obviously very annoying. My question is, is this repairable with glue/paper of some sorts? or do I have to shell out £45 for a new driver.

Thanks

Paul

DSC_0023.JPG Did you actually hit the driver or just punch the paper, reason I ask is I removed the paper on a pair of modified beyers with great results sound quality wise.
You may have deformed the driver dome which is easily done on them believe me.
