After becoming a beyerdynamic fan because of my satisfaction with the DT800 I bought a few days ago, I decided to buy the DT770M as a closed set of headphones for those times that I don't want to bother others with my music.
What an amazingly unique sound these headphones have with the deepest, most powerful bass I have ever heard! (bass reflex system) Wow! On top of that they isolate external noises to a relatively high level (35dB) and the 80 Ohm impendance / 105 dB SPL makes them sound loud even with portable devices. They come with a straight cord, volume control on the cord and a black leather case for carrying them. They are build to last, like most beyerdynamic headphones in contrast to other brands e.g. Grado.
I also enjoy the fact that the headphones are closed diffuse and sound like speakers. Excellent stuff!
