When using the same setup...FLAC -> EMU 0404 USB -> headphones, the DT770s definitely have more bass than my HD580. Nothing like everyone is raving about here though. So I, too, am a little underwhelmed by the bass of DT770s. Unless they will open up after burn in, but I'm one of those who doesn't really believe in burn in.

Nonetheless, they are great headphones.

I was under the impression the dt's blocked out outside noise quite well. (although wind noise is probably a low frequency that goes through) How much sound would u say it blocks out? (Can you hear conversations ect?)
