Beyerdynamic DT770-80 ?

If you can still find them at a Guitar Center, you might be able to talk the salesman down to $150. Mention that they're discontinued and being replaced with a newer model, that may help.

I ordered them from same guy at ebay after hearing about it from ice nine. I offered $125 to see if they could go lower, but they replied that $135 was as low as they could go...plus shipping, which I think was around $12.

$135 for those headphones is a complete steal. And I thought I had it good at $150...

wil the newer model be better than the DT770-80 ?

I think Merc was referring to the two 2006 versions of the DT770 (32 ohm and 250 ohm).

They're not widely available yet, starting to trickle in...

As for quality, many here say that the 2006 models aren't as good as the classic 2003 80-ohm one.

One of the biggest DT770 fans around here says no, and that the DT77-80 is better than the new 32 ohm version soundwise. Also, the new ones look nicer but may not be as rugged... the old 770-80 design wasn't made for audiophiles, it was made to take severe abuse in a studio.
