It comes down to what you prefer. They are different from each other.
DT 770 has a lean but tight bass, good mids and a lot of treble energy. The presentation is airy and a bit dry for some. But they have PRaT at the same time, they keep your feet tapping.
D2000 has a rich sound. Fat but a bit slow bass, slightly recessed mids (especially vocals), and detailed highs.
I found these less toe-tapping
DT770 isolates better. Comfort of both is great.
