I've spent the better part of 3 hours trying to install/replace the pleather ear pads on my new DT1770. I can get the velour pads off and on but am having zero success with the pleather pads. Does anyone know of a link or discussion related to this? Any help would be hugely appreciated! I may need to get a new pair of pleather pads because the mounting lip appears stretched out now. 
* I ended up removing the ear pad rail assemblies, from the ear cups, attaching the ear pads and then snapping everything back into place, with the pleather pads attached. Worked well but still somewhat difficult. All in all, a cumbersome and somewhat ridiculous ear pad mounting system! The pleather ear pads sound awesome with the DT1770s!
