Hi.
My up to now sturdy Beyerdynamic DT1350's have been solid. However long term use has brought out a weakness in the strong looking cable/plug. Mine is no longer working, the plug is broken (thin sound & intermittent signal). This has left me distraught with the thought of my beloved phones not working.
I live in the UK and I see that a cable is available from an authorised local dealer.
Is the cable user replaceable on this model?
I'm confident enough to replace it myself, has anyone here had experience of swapping the cables on the Beyer DT1350?
