I know the Beyer pads are quite popular replacements on other makes of cans (is that just the DT770 style?) but wondered if many go for a leather pad as an upgrade over velour.

Headphile uses them on the Grado/Alessandro z-pads as well.

I'm wondering whether to get some leather ones just to be that little more luxurious - real leather none of that fake stuff

Or just to get some spare black ones.

And where to get them US, Germany or... UK prices are way over the top from Beyer UK.

I had a devil of a time getting the new leather Beyer pads from Beyer in germany, but supposedly they are on their way here now. I will report on them when I get them. But the velour Beyer pads are the very height of comfort.
