I am thinking of purchasing the senns but I want to see what people think.

Howdy from a guy who spent the last 3 years of his life (prior to the last 4 months) in Duluth. I'll be up there in a couple weekends if you'd like to demo my DT-880s, but I can't help with the Senns. If you can get a pair of those lined up within a couple weeks, you can do an A/B from your source(s) and decide which one you like better.

Anyway, I like my Beyers quite a bit, but each headphone is better in its own regard. I like the detail and airyness of my phones more than the Senns, which I find to be slightly darker and more veiled. I like the bass extension of the Senns a bit more, but I think that the bass accuracy of the Beyers is better.
