Does anyone know if the cups on the Beyerdynamic DT831's rotate for one sided monitoring.

Nope.

If you want one sided monitoring, in closed headphones, the Sony MDR-V6's rotate UP...

but as far as side to side? Don't have many good sounding options, sorry...

I've asked the people @ headroom to test out some good DJing headphones or at least tell me of a couple of good ones but I just wrote them maybe a day or so ago(so they probably haven't had a chance to read it). Does anyone here know of any good soundind DJ headphones

isn't the V600 (yeah sorry) sufficient for DJing? or maybe the Ministry Of Sound cans? they have loads and loads of boomy bass, but might be good for DJ work. dunno.

Okay, MDR-V6 is what we reccomend. it should be fine, BUT it doesnt twist sideways.

IXOS and Technics stuff should be good, but get the MDR-V6's and the Beyer pads, and you will be FINE!
