Will these pads fit without modification on the Sonys? Are they better than the stock pads? The reason I'm asking is that I recently purchased a used pair of 7506s with earpads in so-so condition, and I figure I should change the pads when I get them.

If the Beyers are no better, where can I get original replacement pads?

Perfect fit........no modifications needed. I never A/B'd the Sony and Beyer pads for sonic differences, but as far as comfort goes, the Beyers win by a substantial margin IMHO.
