Depends how big your room is and how much you smoke in it. You'll really notice that when you get home and step inside where the BlueAir was working, it smells much fresher. The funny thing is that if you stop using it, you'll notice it more when it's missing.

Don't forget to keep receipts for filter purchases, you'll need them to qualify for the 10 year warranty. Or sign up for the filter replacement plan.

And if it starts getting a bit noisier than usual, be sure to open it up and vacuum the filter, and put it back in. If it still makes noises, take it back to the dealer, and have them RMA it. BlueAir warranties the "quietness" of their filters as well. I've had mine replaced once, they just gave me a new one.
