I bought these recently as well from Amazon. I was comparing these with in store headphones on display. I found out beats has an amp in theirs which require the battery.

I really like the lively feel of the beats but did not like the range and clarity. Is there a headphone out there that has a

Detachable cable
Over ear like m50
With a built in quality amp?
Range like the m50 or anything better?

Or anything most close to my seeking?

I do not want to carry an amp around.

Please help me, I'm new to this.

You won't find much out there with built in amps. The good news is that you don't need an amp for every headphone and some really high quality headphones are low impedance and don't require it.

Sennheiser Momentums are said to be good. Don't know about detachable cables though. You should also look at the V-Moda M80 or M100. Surely others will chime in:

Difference between m100 and m80?

Nvm. I like the over ear but it doesnt have for m80. I am trying to find if it fits over my ears . I have a small head.

M80 are on-ear, M100 are around-ear. The drivers are different sizes. I'm sure there are sound quality differences, but I've never heard either.

Yeah... Just saw that haha, still debating. I hope noise isolating works.

Now that I think about my m50 from AT sounds kind of weak on second thought.
