I recently listened to the TH600s at a meet and although, they were really good, I don't know if the OP wants to spend $1400 on a headphone. Was it just me or were they similar to Denon D5000? I'm pretty sure Denon and Fostex are subsidiaries of the same company. If the OP likes that kind of sound he should check out D2000/5000.

if by th-600 you mean the fostex, that is way out of my budget. i should add that the music will come out of my htc one and that i dont really want open back headphones because they leak too much when i am in public.
