Better Bass? iPod vs. iRiver vs. Rio Karma

cs1323, I can't help you because I've never heard any of them, but I think others might better be able to do so if you define what you mean by "better bass."

Does "better bass" mean more bass, tighter, more accurate bass, or something else? Often (but not always), components that provide more bass sacrifice quality for quantity. Is that trade-off acceptable to you?

Together with Koss Porta Pro the iHP produces absolutely amazing bass. I never experienced anything like this before with any portable player. The iHP makes you "feel" the bass. But it definitely depends on the headphones you're using.

i just bought the sony v6. if i'm lucky i could afford an ihp100 sometime next year. then i could find out what it sound like using the v6 with the ihp with bass boost on max.
