hi all,
i am using a soundcraft ghost with senn hd280 pro into the control room headphone jack. i am wondering what i can look at for better(fidelity) amplification? either diy or commercial. it sounds 'ok'. however i think i am missing a lot. soundcraft says nothing about the circuit that is driving the phones jack. i am assuming that the electronics in this console are better than a cmoy and that i will have to get into some serious equipment to do better?
if anyone knows anything about the ghost i am wondering how good (or bad) it's head amp section is? are headphone amps in high end mixers generally good or bad?
thank you,
john c.
