So I picked up a pair of B&W 685 S2 speakers yesterday and while they still sound really good, I was wondering if there is an alternative out there to the X7 that may give me a little more power/better sound?

The only thing I've really seen at this point in my preliminary searching is the NAD D 3020. Basically I need something that has all of the inputs/ability of the X7. As for price.....let's start at $500.

Can we assume this is for a Windows PC?

Do you really need all the features of the Creative X7?
(any features more important then others?)

What is the end use of the audio setup?
(FPS gaming, movies, music)
