Hi guys.
I'm considering building a Beta22 amp to match my W5000, for the lack of any other suitable amp that does them justice that I could listen to.
(I tried WOO 6, Corda Opera and a few DIY's [which proved to be the most successful of the bunch]).

Does anyone have experience with this set (B22 + W5000)? Other suggestions (besides HA5000) are more than welcome. My main problem is that I'm limited to 220v.

How is your Woo 6 configurated? I'm using very happy with my Maxxed WA6 with Sophia driving W5000.

well, maxxed wa6 with sophia is a much better configuration than what I had

donno, maybe it's worth another shot. but I never missed the tube edge, I'm fine with solid state. that's why I'm considering the beta.

Yeah, I do agree beta is one of the best amp out there but I'm not good on DIY so have to look for a used one in the for sales forums in the future. From what I read, most of the beta build is 7x gain which maybe too much for ATH headphones.
