I had my DT770/80s running to the same jack that my old speakers were on the X-fi However, I thought that using some sort of line out and using purely the Hornet to amp the DT770s would sound better, while just using the x-fi's DAC. I cannot figure out if this is even possible...is it? How?

the three outputs are line level, so you can connect the main stereo out (line out #1) to any amp
