I used a USPS MO to Alex, everything worked out fine.

If I ever need to do business with Jan again, I will probably do the same thing.

Most of Meier's business is with American customers so I'm not sure the logic of "since he's in Europe, he shouldn't bother to..." holds. I know for certain Jan loses some of his business because he doesn't accept credit cards directly.
