Not really sure where this goes to be honest.. What is the best way to improve sound out of a iphone and a macbook pro?? I'm not talking about buying headphones, I'm talking about things such as upgrading cables, DAC's and FLAC services subscriptions. What is the best way to upgrade sound then?? Those are fairly easy to drive, so a headphone amp would not help them that much.

I don't think upgrading cables or getting a better DAC increases the sound quality significantly in conjunction with the M100, because the DAC in the last couple of iPhone models is already very good. I'd say, given your budget, the best way to increase the sound quality while using the M100's is by simply using the highest quality source material you can find (e.g. FLAC).
