The line out of the ipod is 3.5 mini-jack. I'd presume you have to use a mini -> Left / Right RCA connector then plug it to the amp? Should I take care when chosing the plug converters? This is assuming I'm just using normal cables.

Anything else I should take note when doing this setup?

Thanks.

Head to the cable forum for lots of suggestions. What does that cool Sony amp have for inputs? Which generation of iPod are you talking about?

Headroom sells three different ones. a Kimber and I believe a Straightwire. Oh yeah Ted's also. I've used both the Kimber and Staightwire with good results.
