Dear Head-fiers:

I have a set of powered speakers (harman kardon soundsticks III) and a magni/modi combo to power my headphones, and I'm looking for the best set-up I could manage to arrange and use them without plug/unplug(ing) the rca cables all the time.

What I currently do (which is annoying) is disconnect the rca cables from the magni, (I have a female 3.5mm adapter with 2 female rca at the other side) using only the dac modi to power the speakers. I took into consideration connecting directly the speakers to the amp (I know it's not optimal but It would be a lot easier)

What do you think I should do?or what do you guys do because I'm probably not the only one with a similar set-up.

Thanks

I don't know if this would be detrimental to the signal but you could buy a splitter for the RCA cable and another cable, then send one pair of cables to the amp and another pair to your speakers.
