Hi. I was wondering which USB sound card would have the best digital out. And if it was used with the Dac1 which is supposed to be jitter immune, would it even matter much which card is used?

It matters if it resamples 44.1K to 48K, and, as far as I know, they almost all do. If the benchmark has toslink, I think the M-Audio Transit USB is what you want (I've read that it doesnt resample, but I havent tested it myself).
I'd be very interested if anyone knows of a USB card that doesn't resample and has COAX out, but then I've been asking that question for months and have yet to get an easy answer.

Well, only ones available are specialty modded ones. You can get one as cheap as $350 as much as $800 at Empirical Audio
