Hello I was wondering if I could get a few suggestions for a good
upgrade cable for my Sennheiser Momentums.

I'm wondering the same, with the additional question of what would give more from a sound quality perspective, to change the original cable or to add a DAC if listening through the Iphone 7?

I recommend a DAC/amp over a cable for the biggest bang -- it really upped the musicality of my momentum 2 & HD650. I use the HD1 at work, and a set of HD650 at home through a Fiio Q5 dac/amp - I also have the Q1 MKII both are really geared toward iOS users. I highly recommend the Q5 if price is within budget ($350) or the Q1 MKII ($99).

I purchased some cheap chinese 'ear max' silver plated cables on eBay or Amazon (can't remember) and did notice a slight, positive difference in overall sound characteristics and used those for some time. A few days ago I started to DIY some cables and made one out of Mogami 2893 mic wire and have been pretty pleased with the aesthetic and sound quality. Materials were like $15, but the tools were $50
