Looked around ebay and noticed single tube headphone amps under $50. Considering picking one up but would like some feedback before I pull the trigger.
Which models should I be looking at?
Also, if any of you guise own one. How is the quality on them?

Anyways, I was looking at these amps:

The second is full Soild state amp with no tubes. They are pulling your leg by saying power tube. Now we are down to three
The last one has a simple three band equailzer. Do you need one or does your player has one already? Otherwise we are down to two.
Then select which one is look good the white circuit board or the other? They both are hybrid tube amps good for the money but far from the best
If you are into those mini tube amps, there are a whole variety of them. Some have better parts with built-in delay relay. I would suggest getting the better ones with a relay to save wear and tear on you headphones from the turn-on thump.
When I was semi-seriously looking at these the Fournier caught my eye. Project86 did a review that piqued my interest. They are a quality US made product as far as I can tell. ymmv
The website Rockgrotto is a site were they talk about and display modifications to these headphone amps.
I've bought two of those single tube amps. First one is the Muse 6922EH which has worked fine,
then bought the Indeed MK2 6922EH. (both Muse & Indeed easily power my 250-Ohm headphones)

Indeed looks like they are willing to get feedback from their customers and improve their designs.
My Indeed AC/DC adapter stopped working, it is costing me $18 for the replacement, shipped from China (10-15 days shipping time).
They are great for stereo 2.0 sound, but so far have not been able use Headphone 5.1 (with Muse), have to wait for AC/DC adapter to arrive for more testing with the Indeed.
I think the quality is as good as you can get for the low price.
You will want to buy an $6 DT830B Digital Multimeter (it's the cheapest and does the job). and a really small Philips head screw driver.
There are two small Philips head adjustment screws on each side of the tube (you will need to remove the top plate on the amp).
you will need to adjust and balance the voltages for the right and left channel of the tube (to around 12 to 13.5 volts),
The manufacturers may or may not take the time to do these micro adjustments before shipping to you.
And proper adjustment does make them sound better.
