Best tips for UM2?

The comply tips have more bass and both the ety and shure triflanges have more treble. Listen to the comply tips first to decide what you like.

I think it's different for different people as we all have different shape of ear canal.

for me, I found the black foamies provide the best sound.

I've made a comparison of different UM2 tips here:

In general, I've found that short comply tips with EQ to bring out the treble sound better than Ety foamies or Tri-flanges, but without EQ, the Ety tips are significantly better. With the Ety tips, there is a sharp treble peak at 4-6 kHz and a midbass resonance that muddies up the midbass sound. With comply/EQ, the sound is very smooth from low-end to high-end. In the absense of EQ, comply tips stifle the treble badly, both the short ones and the long ones.
