Which are the best headphones Under $100 for bass requiring music like techno, and electronica? A friend of mine is looking for something with the right sound for techno with a maximum budget of $100. Hoperfully something with lots of good qualities in the bass. Lots of bass, that's clean and hopefully detailed. I myself do not know which type of sound signature is best suited for techno. Grado and beyers seem to be the best signatures for such music. Overall what phones are the best with lots of bass (good quality though) at that price range. Mids and highs should be good too.

Note. NO AMP WILL BE USED SO THEY SHOULD BE EFFICIENT, AND SHOULD SOUND GOOD, THROUGH A PORTABLES OUTPUT.

you should check out the V6, iv never heard them but i hear that they have good bass.

the deep bass extension on the HD 280's should help out alot with techno, they're easily drivable as well. For those of you who think the 280's are bass light, i dont know what to say, other than i whole heartedly disagree.
