Apparently there are some very musical opamps around that can run on less than 3 volts. What are they and how do they sound ?
As for buffers, the buf634u will run at 2.5V, but how well does it perform at that low of level ?
The AD8397 runs at 3v but if you run 2 AAA batteries, they'll probably drop just under that.
