I'm looking to get my dad a new set of IEMs for christmas after the last pair I gave him somehow gave out 

. Are the sennheiser cx300iis the best for under $35 shipped to the US or is there something better? He listens to rock mostly, with a little blues.

I just got a pair of soundmagic e10 and they are well worth the money.  there are a few reviews here and other sites on the web.  check them out.

Not sure if it still valid, but both MEE A151 and CC51 can be had for less than $35

Where'd you find a151 for less than $35?  Cheapest I could find was $37 shipped on mee's website
 
Was about to get the CC51 but overstock ran out.
 
Ended up settling for the M9....$10 shipped on newegg.
 
Couldnt find any deals on Soundmagic.
